Wrapping up 2010

Today I got to hang out with one my lifelong best friends. Ellen and I got to go to lunch, do some shopping and go see a movie! We went to see How Do You Know? with Reese Witherspoon and Owen Wilson. I would have expected that a movie with those two to be awesome, but it was very slow. Not one that I will probably see again.

Tomorrow I get to head to San Antonio for the Alamo Bowl. It's the last game that my brother (Chuck) will suit up as an Oklahoma State Cowboy. It's sad to know that his experience is ending, but he got to do something pretty cool to end his experience! He got to go to Sea World as one of one of eight on his team and got to swim with beluga whales!! Look below to see the pictures that were featured in the Daily Oklahoman and the Sea World Facebook page. He's in the very back in the first one and the very far left in the second.

San Antonio to me = OUTLET MALLS! This could be very dangerous people. Completely worth a 9 1/2 hour car ride. Shopping all day Tuesday, the Alamo Bowl Wednesday, and New Years Eve with the boyfriend? Sounds like a solid week to me!

Something new...

Well... I have decided it is time for me to start a blog! Below are three things that I am in love with right now :) I definitely recommend all three!

Erin Condren Life Planner: If you know me at all this shouldn't surprise you. I love that it organizes each day into "morning," "afternoon," and "night." It also comes with a ton of stickers to help keep you organized. I can't wait to get mine in two weeks! My best friend is planning a wedding and ordered their wedding planner which is awesome too! If you are interested in it here is the link: Erin Condren Planner.
Tulle Clothing: I bought a red, single-breasted long coat last month and got a cropped jacket in birch for Christmas and LOVEEEE them both! I put a picture of the jacket below (obviously not in red), but these are both really cute and very reasonably priced! Tulle Clothing Website

Pioneer Woman Cookbook: Okay, this is seriously the best cookbook I have ever seen. I have made a lot of things out of this (including my family's Christmas dinner) and nothing, I repeat NOTHING, has tasted anything but wonderful. Don't expect to keep a good figure if you cook out of it often, but it is definitely worth trying out! I joke with my mom that this is "how to cook for men 101." It is so easy to follow with pictures too if you are new to cooking! I bought two of my friends this for their Christmas gift because they wanted to borrow mine so much! Ree Drummond's website is a lot of fun to look at so check it out: The Pioneer Woman

Well that was easy! Maybe this blogging thing could be fun :)
