I haven't written a post lately, and it's for a couple of reasons. First, school started back and things have been hectic! I am currently applying to take the CPA exam, doing all of my school stuff, working and trying to have a social life. Second, I haven't really decided exactly how I want to utilize this blog. Guess I am still working on that part really. So for now, I guess this is just what's going on in my life.
I booked my trip to New York City to see my friend Ellen this morning! I am so excited! I have never been there and can't wait for her to show me around. My trip happens to be on my brother's birthday, so I will also get to go to Princeton and see his school and go to dinner with him!
I've been doing really well with the Weight Watchers program! I am thinking of putting some of the recipes that I am cooking (and loving) up here with step by step pictures. Most are REALLY easy and fun to make. I am lucky to have Ryan as my guinea pig to test out new stuff and he is pretty honest on what he thinks about them so I am learning to tweak stuff and see what happens!
I guess that's all I have for now. It's a Saturday afternoon and I'm doing homework and being productive. Oh the life of a MAcc student :) Hope everyone has a great week!

2011
A new year typically brings about resolutions right? Well this year is about to be crazy and I have a BUNCH of resolutions and things that will be happening to me. I'll share some of the things I know will happen and things I hope will happen in 2011!
Things that will (or at least are planned) to happen this year:

- Graduate from the Masters of Accountancy program at the University of Arkansas (WOOOOO!)
- Start taking the CPA examination (hoping to finish by the end of 2011 as well!)
- My best friend is getting married in 214 days!
- Start my first "big girl" job as an auditor at a firm in Tulsa
- Lose weight/get in better shape:
- I just signed up for Weight Watchers online..If anyone reading this has done it before...pleaseeeee send tips this way!
- Actually utilize my membership to World Gym (completely necessary)
- RUN! The above mentioned best friend (Kara) and I are planning on starting to run this spring :) I really want to start doing runs (5k, 10k and SERIOUSLY would love to complete a half-marathon this year!)
- Enjoy my last semester of college! I really don't want to spend this spring with my nose in a book ALL the time. I know it's necessary, but I want to really experience Fayetteville and of course spend some time with my boyfriend and friends!
- Start the CPA exam...and finish! I would prefer to be done with these this year (or before I start work would be AWESOME). Then when people say "well at least you won't have to study anymore" it will be true.
- Do things that make me happy! Sometimes it seems like the things I enjoy doing get pushed to the side when things get busy. I don't want this to happen as much and at least do a couple things I truly enjoy every week!
- Cook! I LOVEEEEE cooking! It helps that I have a boyfriend who loves eating my cooking too :) So I hope I can try out a lot of new recipes this year!
